When you need to make a town name real quick and don’t want to rifle through 400+ types, styles, date range of names. Roll two 20 sided dice and put them together. This is meant to give you some really quick names in a pinch. Using both these columns, you use your discretion to put it as one full name or two worded name. EXAMPLE: “Rockdale” or “Rock Dale” – “Summerhaven” or “Summer Haven.” See below for some more tips and tricks to help speed the process along:
EXAMPLE: Rolls a 5 and a 17. 5=Black, 17=Port. Also you can use the opposite of what you rolled; 17=New 5=Wood. Apart from the obvious joke about wood, you have two names you can use The City of Black Port, or the Village of New Wood.
NOTE:Obviously if it doesn’t make sense don’t use it. Winterhold, in a tropical location? Maybe not. Summerdale high in the mountains covered in 5 feet of snow? That is where the alternate dice roll, as explained above comes in to help.
