Bringing Your Best

Chance gets a mother-in-law straight in the face. After some awkward moments of siblings, revelations and fights they have a visit with Velencia that has some massive reveals. This is a lore bomb, and lots to digest in this episode reveal. Battle Written Out

Everyone in the camp is looking around at each other, eyes widening a bit hearing the sound accompanied with the ground starting to shake. “Just great, who did they bring to the party now?” Cassie says looking over the fields and the ever darkening horizon that is now just a deep purple.

The entire camp is now in full blown preparation mode. It almost seems panicked but between McKenna, a 5-star guard and Cassie barking orders, there really seems to be a method working here.

Khamyra pleading her case about fightingChance and Khamyra exchange glances and the tall Champion gives her a smirk.

“Hey, I didn’t want to have to fight tonight…” she says with little believability.

The quarter elf nods his head a bit sarcastically, “uh huh, you keep telling yourself that.” Knowing full well she has been aching to sling some spells and get out some aggression.

The guards are forming a line now, about 30 feet in front, half the guards dropping large shields down, with drawn spears. The other half is lined up right behind them with a combination of long bows and Crossbows. Cassie briskly walked behind them barking out orders, a 5 star repeating her orders farther down the line. McKenna helped get the last few into place.

The Warlock and the Champion make it to the left end of the line and are watching. Behind them they hear voices, somewhat panicked. They glance behind them to watch the Guardian stride out into the middle of the upcoming battlefield. Saundra stopping close to you, wide eyes with worry, “this is not a test! This is real, that sound is real, that earth shake is… real!”

The Guardian, learning things the hard wayIt didn’t matter, the smaller pureblood is now standing a good 75 feet in front, as though to protect everyone from the oncoming enemy. Her two Clerics, armed to the teeth, less than confident standing beside her. There are a lot of exchanged glances and Cassie takes a look out. “hey you, hey! Glow girl get back here, that isn’t going to be a unicorn busting out of the fields!”

Chance, Khamyra and Cassie all glance at each other and shake their heads.

Then out of some taller weeds that were a good 3-4 ft in height, there are a few humanoids. Sounds of hooting and hollering and Chance shakes his head, “orcs, like it is a surprise or anything.”

Just barely visible, a larger, looking figure is coming from behind them, much bigger. It is coming at a pretty good pace.

By then everyone is looking either to the fields or up in the air. The Champion looks about and his Fiance is gone. One look at half the people in the camp lets him know to look up.

Khamyra is about 50 feet in the air, arms outstretched and looking across the vast Teeter Wind Plains. She quickly makes her way back down, lands on the ground. “Three biggies, one is coming hard, looks to be dragging something behind it. I can’t tell but it does appear to be a small army coming our way. Not sure a shock, awe and light show is going to do it this time Cass.”

The Baroness, about 25 feet from both Dark Society members nods her head and looks down a moment. Then starts to bark out more orders.

It wasn’t long before the huge creature burst out of the field line, dragging behind him what looks to be like palisade walls, one on each side, held to him with a rope. As he is racing for the camp, he pulls the ropes tighter and the walls form a line to his left and right. The walls dragging across the ground with spikes all lined up. i.e. it is two walls roped to the creature, so when he runs, the walls are at his side, along the ground, pretty much hitting anything in it’s path, 20-25ft wide.

Cassies eyes bulge knowing this would wipe out 75% of the guards. She screams at the top of her lungs “right 25 go right, go right, now now! left 25 go left go left hurry hurry!!” She is racing around pointing the things out and Mckenna and the 5-star are helping facilitate it.

The battering Ogre, playing golf with a little elfBy that time the battering ogre has reached Naya’il. She stood alone as the two clerics hightailed it out of there so they didn’t get swept up into that mess. The guardian glows a little, and she strikes down with her mace. It hits the racing ogre (did 18hp of damage) but not even phasing this giant. It has a huge tree, mashed in the front and it hits her with such force, she goes sailing 35-40 feet in the air (took 33hp of bludgeoning damage, 8hp of force damage and another 9hp of bludgeoning from landing so hard 40+ feet from the ogre).

As the guardian sailed across the sky, everyone’s eyes widened. Saundra lets out a little shriek in horror, and starts racing for her.

Khamyra and Chance just stop a moment and watch it, the Warlock scoffs a little, “well, that answers that…” and smirks.

TOP OF ROUND ONE

The Champion snickers a bit and starts his transformation, body starts to glow and radiate with symbols, eyes turn from orange to a white to a crackling fire blue. His weapon, “Silent Fate,” is taken out of his scabbard and he is looking to make his way through the 35-40 guards racing to the sides to get out of the way of the giant battering ram.

The ogre racing for the brigade“Get out of my way!” the Onyx Elf is screaming, and finally she makes it out. She already had her hand in her pouch, her eyes beaming arcane energy. She uses both hands to toss the component, she traces symbols with both hands and yells “exta turdent!” It takes about one second for the energy to ball up and release from her. Khamyra was ready, and even so it sends her skidding back. Her heels so dug into the dirt it is bringing up the earth, pushing her back a good foot, foot and a half. This spell was not directly aimed at the Ogre, it was directly aimed at its leg. She focused all her energy all her thoughts to that creatures right leg. It hits the Ogre, now with a bit of bewilderment in his eyes seeing this massive light streak heading straight for him, accompanied by the loudest thunder clap you have ever heard. It strikes the creature extremely hard making him flip 180 degrees away from the hit (51hp of damage) and it failed its constitution throw making his leg fly off as well. Blood pours out and is flung as far as 25 feet. It finishes its twirl and lands hard on the ground with a earth shaking crash and shriek. To add insult to injury, the two walls he dragged with him, inverted and collapsed on top of him, causing more damage (10hp).

The guards are now out of the way, any of them with ranged weapons, fired. 27 of them hit the wounded creature (182hp of damage) and it stops moving and making noise. It is now a dead, legless pin cushion. (Khamyra gets 16 temporary HP after that death)

As people’s attention was drawn to the ogre, it allowed two hill giants to emerge from the fields and start in after Camerondale. They are in the middle while the orc army is on either side. They all rush in and the Camerondale army / guards clash with all the orcs. It appears this is a big battle for the creatures, each of the orcs were outfitted with breast plate armor, long powerful spears or decent great swords or even nice heavy crossbows. About 1/4th of the orcs who see chance, their eyes get big and they turn tail to run. The Champion form creates fear in challenge ratings of 1/2 or less.

The two hill giants and the orc leader clash with Chance, Khamyra, McKenna and Cassie. During this time, Chance has now changed over to barkskin.

Meanwhile Saundra and the Clerics finally make it over to Naya who was knocked silly. The guardian is prone for the next 2 rounds trying to get her bearings about her.

The four of them race out to meet the two giants and one orc leader head on, to minimize the death toll of the younger inexperienced guards.

Cassie goes a little faster than the rest and races for the orc leader. She goes to lunge for the Orc who is dressed in shiny, well maintained chain mail, a larger secure helm, bracers, greeves, war boots and has a spear attached to its back. A sly grin washes over the orcs face. Chance, knowing Orcs very well (His fav enemy) starts to yell something but it wasn’t quick enough. Cassie at the last second saw the leader holding something in his hand and because she was in the middle of a Psi movement, she could not adjust course. A steel, makeshift whip like thing gets snapped across slamming into Cassie (She rolled a 1 and takes 18hp of damage and now is prone for this round). She is tossed a good 10 feet to the left, tumbling and blood splattering all over.

Orc leading its armyThe Chief Orc, throws his whip down and grabs what looks to be one nasty looking glaive. He twirls it around and is heading straight for Chance. It stops momentarily and lets out this weird shrewd whistling warrior cry (Battle cry, all allies attack with advantage until his next turn)then swings at Chance. The Champion, with a bit too much confidence tries to parry this wide sweep and fails. It hits him across the lower chest, slicing open the bark and his skin (6hp) but the Bark then quickly covers that up again.

Chance goes after the Orc, but was a bit too pumped. His first attack misses completely, the Orc ducked the high attack. As the Warrior orc smiles thinking that was it, another back-tracked slash runs across his arms and chest (6hp) making him jump a bit, not expecting that. Then one last was a slash, and it again rips in between the chain mail and pauldron causing the orc to gasp a bit and growl afterwards (9hp of damage).

While that was happening, Khamyra prepared another spell. Had some weird snotty goop she rubs in her fingertips, traces a symbol and said “Aklas.” She flashed a bit with purple arcane light, eyes beaming. In less than a second the second Hill Giant coming in has a bright flash in his eyes and he reaches for his head, making a sound similar to that of Tim the Tool Man Taylor (fails Wisdom saving throw, the giant is now scared – Eyebite). It turns and starts to run the other way, getting a good 30 feet. The Warlock rubs her bracelet that has the marble attached to it, and an assassin’s blade erupts from her hands. She turns and slashes hard at the Chief Orc, but misses him, by a lot.

Khamyra slinging spellsThe first Hill Giant was zeroing in on McKenna who was turned for a second to bark an order. It was too late for her as the club hit her square in the head, driving her back so hard and fast she slams into the ground and does a somersault (23hp of damage). She shakes her head in the middle of a cloud of dust not knowing exactly what happened, only to instinctually call upon the earth to help. She closes her eyes, clenches her fist with one hand, another laying flat on the dirt. It is like the grass grew a little, grabbed her and moved her just enough to avoid the hammer of the giant’s weapon. The ground trembles at the attack, dirt and grass fly everywhere, but McKenna was not hit. It pays to be a higher level Witchblade.

The Black Ward woman grabs a potion from her pack, and gives it a quick look and smirk, quietly thanking Bastian for it. It is red, and has a soft amber glow to it. She stands and launches it at the Giant, knowing it has to be a good 10-15 feet away from everyone else. It hits the ogre in the shoulder, pops up and over it and falls directly to the ground, smashing and erupting in a fiery explosion. Everyone made their savings throw, meaning the people on the outskirts did not take damage, but the Giant only took 14hp. Being ever prepared she also had her hand crossbow ready, picks it up, aims and fires. Thud! It hit the side of the arm and it was like a mosquito bite to him (3hp).

TOP OF ROUND TWO

Chance has one more round for the barkskin. The Orcs fleeing, about 14 of them skitter to a halt, making their saves and turn to head back. Still out of the battle for this round.

The battle between guards and orcs continues, (Todd rolls a 17 despite having +12, the Orcs roll a 15.) and it is a draw, a few fall on both sides but no real push for either of the groups.

Cassie getting ready to try and unleash hellCassie, shaking off her last round where she was thrown by a metal whip, stays on one knee and concentrates. Her mind focuses on the weapon the giant who is still in battle with us has, and with a great Psionic push, much to the giants surprise the weapon jumps out of his grip (her attempt required a 17 strength save, giant had a +5, but rolled a 5+5=10) and falls to the ground. A very surprised looking giant glancing down seeing the weapon sit there like it was an oily rodent. She then lifts her crossbow, mumbles something about “hating crossbows” and fires on the unsuspecting chief orc. Thud! (6hp of damage). To finish out her round with a bonus, her entire body shudders for a moment, like watching a picture book (uses Psi-Recovery on herself) and she is back up to full hit points (19hp restored).

The Orc Chief, after taking a shot from Cassie, turns its sights back to Chance. The Champion thought he was ready, but this is a wiley ol’ Orc who has been in his fair share of battles. Another slice in between the dodge and parry of the Champion who seems to move really fast. Anticipating that he drives the slash hard and it tears into Chance. The Champion yells a little in pain and surprise, looking down seeing the Bark now split wide and half his guts exposed, (Rolled a natty. Glaive did 24hp of damage) but with a little extra surge (Gruumsh’s Fury adds 6hp more). The bark quickly closes everything up. Seeing this the leader then brings back his spear like weapon and tries to drive it into and through the man with skin made of bark. No such luck, it hits, and all it does is push the Champion a foot backwards, not penetrating his skin.

Chance in the heat of battleThe quarter elf, pulls out the glaive and in retaliation slashes out for the orc and loses his balance from the release of the glaive (rolled a crit fail, but it is only round 2 so the extra possible issues do not apply yet). The Champion curses as it takes him the entire round to recover.

Khamyra knows enough to not cast another spell while the eyebite spell is still affecting the giant. She slashes hard across his shoulder, neck area, ripping into it (8hp) then driving it into the Orcs side making him yelp a bit and curse in frustration (9hp).

The giant who is a good 30 feet away, fleeing, thinks for a split second and realizes, “I am so scared, I’m a big scaredy girl!” and continues to flee at 40 feet, now 70 feet away (missed WIS throw by a lot to stop Khamyra’s Eyebite).

Mckenna tries for the leader, and slashes a bit and it clunks off the Orc’s pauldrons. Cursing a bit she then lunges and that always seems to work better for her, she drives it into the side stomach of him, poison oozing off it (4hp + 6hp poison he made his save).

The other giant, still in range, grabs what appears to be a giant tree stripped of its limbs, off it’s back. It sees the dark little thing that has some glowy thing in her hand and has burst out other glowy things. Khamyra, a bit surprised by knowing his main weapon was on the ground, tried to dodge what was coming to her, but to no avail. The makeshift weapon hits her square in the kisser, chest, leg area sending her sprawling back in a cloud of dust (21hp of damage, making DEX save to not be thrown 20-30 feet). As she is recovering she faintly hears her fiance “look out, coming back!!” she looks up only to have the tree slam directly on her head and body. It was like she disappeared for a second, under wood, (heheh wood), dirt and grass (19hp of damage). The Giant pulls the weapon up, smile on his dopey face knowing he just gave her a what’s for. (Khamyra had temporary HP, so 40 total minus 16 temp is 24 total points of damage)

TOP OF ROUND THREE

Chances barkskin fades away. The rest of the Orcs all start to head back, shaking off the fear (Todd rolled a “1” on a 1d100 roll, yeah no shit). They will be back in 2 rounds since they were a good 60 feet away. Naya’il has made it back to her feet, getting an extra 20 points of healing from Saundra. It will take another round for her to get back into the frey.

The other orcs are joining the battle now, reducing the bonuses for Camerondale to +11. Todd rolls a 17, the Orcs roll a 15. Still quite the stalemate. With the advanced armor and weapons of the Orcs, them being Teeter Wind orcs, a tad bit hardier, they are holding their own still. Only a few fall again that round.

The Baroness gets to her feet and races towards the Giant. She knows that is the biggest threat right now and the battle with the guards and Orcs, from what she can see, is not going as planned. As she races, she makes a motion with her arm and the 3 other fighters with her; Khamyra, Chance and McKenna get hit with a quick invisible burst of wind (Psi-Protective Field any damage taken this round, reduced by 1d10+4) She is close enough and she leaps (psi-jump) 15 feet in the air to this 17 foot tall hill giant. She slams into his shoulder but drives both her Sais into the side of his skull. He did not expect her, so it was a sneak attack (She rolled a natty. 9hp of damage, x2 for the sneak, and x2 for the natty +5 is 41hp of damage).

In an instinct reactionary move, the giant freaks a bit, swats at Cassie and hits her (failed dex throw) and she goes flying about 8 feet away, landing hard with a thud, but holding on to her now, blood soaked Sais (4hp of falling damage to Cassie).

Because McKenna was the last one to attack it, the Orc Chief turns its sites to the Witchblade. Because they were engaged, the adept fighter jumps back and she takes a second to let out a sigh of relief by the miss. By the time she realized it the blade sliced through the side of her face, along a bit of her neck and down her shoulder and arm with his return attack. She screams in pain, grabbing for her left side of her face (20hp of damage).

The Champion, knowing his bark is gone, gives a quick thought to heal and his body flashes a fast bluish hue (11hp returns). Chance slashing in an arcing motion. It rips through the Orc who was trying to keep his eyes on all of you, but couldn’t parry the Champions very fast attack in time (8hp of damage).

The giant who was running, looks back momentarily as it is heading into the high weeds and wheat. He doesn’t hesitate to sprint even further (failed WIS throw again, he is now permanently out of the battle).

Luckily, Khamyra finally stops her concentration on the spell, so it was perfect timing. Standing up her face beat red with pain, anger and fury. She starts to raise both hands in the air, dust trailing them, she writes a quick symbol and now the hands held high, she screams “eldritch!” making everyone glance over, hearing it coming from the Onyx Elf.

(HDYWTDT) The Onyx elves’ eyes are pouring out purple arcane light, her hands have 3 large bolts just streaking out of her hands. It lights up the entire area, in fact it’s hard to look at. A crackling sound and a few snaps erupt as the energy hits the Giant in the chest (21hp, killing blow) and with her little extra power a loud thunder clap is heard (Agonizing Blast adds an additional 4hp, Repelling Blast sends creatures 10 or more feet away, prone.) But it was dead and it is a giant and it falls unnaturally hard to the ground causing everything to shake, and dust to fly everywhere.

McKenna’s eyes are watering, she can’t remember when she was this angry. She puts her hand to the ground again and calls to the earth, casting essentially a cantrip of grasping vines. A weaker form of it, aimed at the Orc Chief. Taken completely by surprise the orc looks down and tries to break free but can’t, he is struggling but is now grappled (failed STR throw).

TOP OF ROUND FOUR

The fleeing giant is gone and will not return. The only battle left is the Orcs Vs Guards and bonuses will apply when Chance, Khamyra, McKenna and Cassie join. Naya has joined the battle now rushing headlong into a group of Orcs. She also casts “blessing” and 6 of the guards closest to her attack with advantage. It is offset by the extra orcs joining the battle.

The remaining orcs that fled have joined the battle, reducing the bonus to +9. Todd rolls a 23, and the Orcs roll a 13. Finally the guards are making way, a good 10-12 Orcs go down while Camerondale only loses one.

DM: Condensing. The battle rages on for a good 6-7 more rounds, another 45-50 seconds RT. Camerondale after quite a bit of effort, kill the majority of the Orcs, some flee and are killed and the rest escape in the confusion.

Cassie is ordering people to stab any orc on the ground, walks over to the grappled Orc leader and ties him with massive strong binds.

The Champion heals himself first, looks over to his fiance who is in a bit of discomfort, being bashed in the head like that. He gives her a big hug and heals her. She welcomes it, snuggles in and giggles a little.

McKenna is still kneeling, blood dripping off her face just staring at the ground… visibly shaking a bit.

“Good job Witchblade, we have a prisoner now that actually knows a language, we can get some answers,” Cassie says passing by the crouched woman in a hurry to help out the monks.

Chance walks to McKenna, he knows he does not have a ton left in the tank to heal, but heals her face so as not to leave a scar. She smiles, nods in appreciation, still trembling a bit with her anger and exhaustion.

Clerics, Monks, the Guardian and also Cassie are racing around now healing guards. Bodies being placed in a row here and there.

First Five Starts Here

After a good 15 minutes, the healing was done, the count was finished. Chance and Khamyra made it to the first tent they went into, looking for either Cassie, McKenna or even the five star they saw during the battle.

They stick their head in to see Cassie sitting on a makeshift chair, head in her hands, to the left side inside the huge tent.

Khamyra and Chance stop, eyes a bit wider, “Cassie, are you ok?” the Champion says quietly.

She shakes her head, looks up to the two standing in the entrance way. Tears streaming down her face, “We lost 30 men and women, Thirty!” she says with an audible gasp. Puts her head back down, shaking a little. “What do I tell the King or, oh my god, how do I explain this to their families?”

The two engaged couple exchange looks again, knowing the hurt that battle causes. They take a step back and look out over the battlefield of trampled grass and dirt, puddles and pools of blood, broken weapons, body parts, two mounding piles of a Hill Giant and an Ogre.

“I knew the guards were struggling a bit, but thirty?” the Onyx Elf says quietly, glancing up to Chance.

He shakes his head, “they came prepared, just look at their weapons and armor, what band of orcs sport that kind of hardware? They also had a good plan to take us out. If you were not here, I fear no one would have left alive,” Chance finishes, quietly and directly to his Fiance.

Chance walks in the tent, and over to Cassie, squats down and grabs her hand. It is apparent she is trying to get herself under control, knowing she has a lot to do still and she can’t let other people see her like this.

“I don’t think there is much I can say right now, but if you need anything please let us know,” he says, giving her a warm look.

She nods and is taking deep breaths, then gives the Champion a soft smile back.

After a few minutes Cassie stands up, walks to Khamyra and hugs her fiercely. A bit taken back by it, the Warlock’s eyes enlarge, then a smile washes over her face, welcomes the embrace and returns it.

“We owe you our lives,” Cassie says softly in her ear, then pulling back looking at the Onyx Elf.

Khamyra gives her a smile, “think nothing of it, I needed to get a little aggression out, my mother is in town.”

It took a second but the Baroness pulled back more and chuckled, nodding her head. “I have to get things organized out there, feel free to use one of the cots in this tent for rest,” she finishes pointing back into the huge tent that has what appears to be a curtain drawn.

She takes a moment, and Khamyra helps make sure she is looking ok. Then the Baroness raises her head, gives a fake smile and heads out.

The couple walk past the curtain and there is 5 cots here that need to be set up. They set them up, much nicer than the usual ones. They lay down and try and get some rest.

Tuskalay (Tuesday) 5:30AM

Chance slowly opens his eyes to the sounds of crickets and the occasional breeze that hits the tent. He looks to his side, only to find his fiance sitting next to him, head resting on his cot, deep in thought.

“Copper for your thoughts?” he says quietly, not to startle the Warlock.

She smiles and looks at him. “Just thinking about everything,” she starts, then lifts her head and looks around. “Let’s head back now ok? I want to get home.”

Chance nods in full agreement.

They gather their gear, and head to the makeshift stables. They tell one of the guards to let the Baroness know they already left.

It was a good 8 hour ride in a wonderful day of weather; blue skies, puffy clouds and a nice temperature. They get home, splitting the time grabbing a quick bite to eat at a small town, a drink and a squirt.

It is mid afternoon and they ride up to their house that has a crate or two out front, a chest and the makeshift wagon they used to move into the Champions home over a year ago.

The couple exchanged a worried look and dismount.

Upon entering they see everyone in the house, going over things, packing away in bags, boxes and the like. It seems to be very busy.

Griffin looks up, has a smile then it fades a little to a disheartening frown.

“Griffin, what is going on?” the Champion says approaching him and the table filled with items.

The entire order stops what they are doing and looks at you.

“M’Lord, I…” the dwarf starts but quickly gets interrupted.

“Chance, Griffin, call me Chance,” the quarter elf says, half scolding, half playful, “we are long past the M’Lord thing.”

Griffin nods his head, “well, to rip the bind right off, me and Renata are moving out. It is time. We have accomplished what no other order has done. We protected and trained the Champion, acquired vast knowledge and artifacts and we helped facilitate the ascension of our Lord Finster.”

Khamyra is just staring at him, like she is going to cry. She did not sleep hardly at all and is still exhausted from the battle. Griffin sees this, he smiles warmly, and immediately walks to the Warlock and they embrace.

Chance looks down, mumbles a bit, “makes sense, plus there is little to no privacy.”

“We found a place in the center of town, a nice little house snuck between some brownstones. It isn’t that expensive and well, like Chance said, it is more private,” the leader of the Order says, “literally a 3 minute walk.”

Khamyra is looking around, “this seems like way more than what you should be taking,” she says looking back over to the Dwarf, “do we have to check your pockets?”

He lets out a laugh, “well, no.” Griffin then looks back to Luella and Trinity who now are walking towards the Champion and Warlock.

The Onyx Elf’s shoulders sag a bit and give them a pleading look, “you too?”

They nod their head, “me and Trin here, kind of had this planned, when things got settled, we would find a place for ourselves,” Luella says, giving the Warlock a hug.

Trinity perks up a bit, “we are moving into the City, so you can visit anytime! With the new Academy coming in, we both were offered jobs there and we accepted.”

A laugh erupts from Khamyra, “So I will no longer be your room mate, I will be your boss.”

Trinity and Luella give each other a look and back to her.

“Yes, I am the Paragon for the Magic division, took the position the other day,” the Warlock explains.

They all hug again, laughing a bit knowing they will stay in touch.

The entire Order is saying their goodbyes, hugs, laughs and a lot of tears. The wagon is loaded and it starts to move off.

Khamyra waves to them and then goes to look for her fiance, but could not find him. Eventually she walks out back and goes far enough past the well.

Chance sits there throwing a few twigs forward just staring out. “I am really going to miss them.”

The Onyx Elf slides next to him and puts her arms across his shoulder. “Me too hun, but we knew this day was coming. Plus, who wants to live with baby’s really? Having to be quiet, that added responsibility. Plus, I mean your bodily noises, let me tell you…”

Chance chuckles a bit and leans into her. They sit there for a good hour, both just remembering all the times they had there together.

The engaged couple sits there and reminisce…

The day they all moved in, Chance and Khamyra were not even talking because of relationship issues. Until that night when the Warlock found herself on the balcony with the Champion. That night changed their lives, leading to 2 gorgeous babies and a soon to be marriage.

The time ruffians attacked, killed Novalee and Chance resurrected her. The blood and the perfectly timed visit from Plugr, Victoria and Talia.

Britney coming to Chance on the balcony telling him that Summer Isle has been invaded by Thorngate, and their home town has been overrun.

The time when Shanna almost gutted Chance, but left a parting gift of a Thorngate witch at their doorstep. The show of good faith, meant little to the three witches. But Khamyra, despite trying to keep away from the Champion, stepped in and helped.

Tears flow a little remembering the announcement of Khamyra’s birth, how Chance went ass over teakettle after hearing it. How he could not of handled it any better and she fell in love with him all that much more.

Not all memories were pleasant, Chance stumbles on remembering Shanna and killing her in cold blood. How much it effected him and realizing being a Champion, being a father, will sometimes lead you down a path you would of never taken before. The feeling he had staring at her slumped against the well. After burying her, Novalee coming to him and being with him.

Of course, the best day of both their lives, the birth of the Twins. Seeing them brand new and feeling an instant connection with them. The first time things settled down and they all fell asleep on the big bed, with Chances arms wrapped around all of them.

The first time they brought over Chances mother and introduced the kids to their grandmother, the look on her face and the connection she had with them.

Khamyra’s worst memory here, with her Killing the Dreadlock elf. In many ways she has still not forgiven herself, but much like Chance with Shanna. She is a mother and she has to protect her young.

The time they came home after Finsters Ascension. It was a magical time, no pun intended, for everyone. A sense of together-ness, love and accomplishing a great task.

And now, watching their friends, their family leave and move on with their lives.

The little session ends with both of them softly crying and holding each other.

Eventually they make their way back in and Novalee is there, organizing things. Cullen is eating some left over stew, looking over books and Dash is over with Sisse, playing with the kids some.

“Is it OK that I stay M’Lord?” Novalee says walking to them, giving them puppy dog eyes.

Chance walks over and envelops the little elf, “you are part of our family, you deserve to be here as much as anyone else,” he says and continues, “only if you start to call me Chance.”

She looks up and smiles, enjoying the hug, “Yes M’Lord,” she responds in a playful tone.

Dash glances over, raises his eyebrow, “me too? Can I stay?”

Khamyra is shaking her head, “they left on their own volition, they could have stayed here until the next Era. So yes Dash, you are always welcome to be here and make this your home.”

He smiled and went to Khamyra, hugging her. She welcomes it. Then turns to the Champion and gives him a warrior’s shake.

Chance smiles looking over to Cullun, “well?”

“Should I pay rent or something?” he retorts in a loud giggle, “I am guessing it is ok I stay as well?”

“Never even a question Cullun,” Chance says smiling at him, “I am glad you are, I like our little sessions we have, learning about all the monsters.”

Khamyra and Cullun exchange a warm smile and he goes back to what he was doing.

The day moves on and Novalee starts a list of things everyone has to do now, since they are down 4 of their people. They all take their orders from the cute elf and finish any chore they had to do.

It was evening when the four of them sit together on the Balcony and they welcome Sisse up their as well. They are drinking the years first bottle of Cider, called Freyfrost Sweet Cider. It has a kick and a bit of fermentation, but it is delicious.

Chance stands up, “It has been a long day, but I will say this,” he raises his glass high, “A toast to the people who call this home, to the people who are calling somewhere else home and to the friendship we will always have with each other.”

All four are looking at him, smiles wash over their faces and Novalee and Khamyra’s eyes well up a bit. They all take a glug.

After a good hour of good times on the balcony, everyone heads down and turns in.

Khamyra sits on the edge of the bed, and looks up to you. “This is where I sat, after the Royal wedding, deciding on whether I was going to ride you like a stallion,” she says somewhat musefully. “I am glad it all turned out the way it did, in many ways, we have a blessed life.”

Chance stands there, now completely naked in front of his fiance. He gives her a smile.

She glances and chuckles. Then she grabs his hand and brings him on top of her and they start to kiss. The couple makes love for the next hour, then blissfully fall asleep in each others arms.

Wedmak (wednesday) 7:00AM

Turn Based Starts Here

DMaster: You wake up.
CRY: My wife likes to use my nuts as ping pong balls… time to wake up! It’s 7:00AM

Chance: shake my head, get up and look over to see if Khamyra is still asleep, as I sit up and stretch

DMaster: She is waking just like you, you can hear the kids, they seem to be content right now. Just making a squeaking sound and a giggle now again. It puts a big smile on both your faces.

Chance: I lean over and give her a kiss on the cheek
Chan: good morning, love (whispering)

DMaster: She smiles, rolls over and returns the kiss

Chance: I will get out of bed and grab one of my good outfits. Get dressed and put silent fate at my side. Then head downstairs to see if everyone has started to get up yet.

DMaster: You can hear Novalee putting tea on

Chance: Looking around to see if Dash is up yet

DMaster: You do not see him. Just Novalee, you know from experience that Cullun shows up around 8:00. Not sure about Dash

Chance: Chan: Novie have you seen Dash?

DMaster: She shakes her head.
NOV: Nope, just got up myself.

Chance: Chan: that’s okay I will talk with him later I am sure.
smirking a bit
Chan: I am headed to the City is there anything you want me to bring back. Perhaps some truffles or something for you to catch up on your reading

DMaster: The blonde elf thinks for a second, looks down. Sisse has gotten up, stretching and walking through the bottom floor. Novalee then looks at you funny, smiles and shakes her head.
NOV: No, Chance… I am good
She is looking weird. Like she wasn’t sure about something

Chance: Chan: what is it Novie, I see that look?
giving her a big smile

DMaster: Khamyra is walking down the stairs, shaking her head.
KHA: As observant as always my Fiance, she just called you Chance

Chance: smiling and just realizing she did, walk over to her and give her a big hug
Chan: it’s about time you call me Chance and not M’lord. No more formalities in this house

DMaster: NOV: I don’t know… it feels weird.
DM: Condensing. Khamyra and Sisse get the kids going. The Champion leaves immediately for Camerondale to go shopping. After dicking-the-dog for a half hour, because he was too early, he makes his way to the Forge that Cassie (The Baroness) recommended. He finds a great medium half plate armor that was originally a custom, but the order was cancelled. They will resize it and create a shield to match. Chance tries to bargain with him (rolls a 7) and gets no where except for a few gold because of Cassie. (Todd rolled a natty, for the lead time, meaning it won’t take long) They said it will be ready for him by this Friday. It was 475 gold. Very expensive but the half plate is made with the finest leathers and what is called Mournlode Metal – Click to read more about it.

Chance then heads to the Library and tries to find anything on this invoker nicknamed bonerazor. Going through a few books he doesn’t find anything in the first. The second he finds some history about this Varow, better known as the Chancellor of Corellon. The third book he finds they were in a pretty brutal battle with another realm for the longest time. During his time in the library he runs into Talia and Esmershard. The feisty Witchblade and the Master Alchemist talk with Chance a bit before he heads out.

On his way to another shop he runs into Khamyra. She was heading for the Castle, and she tells him that they are asking for him as well. The two of them are in the throne room with the King, Queen, Baroness and Duke. Cassie awards Khamyra a medal and another notch higher on the “hero” status of this realm (probably will help her academy status too, her being Paragon and all). It was a subdued meeting, though they were happy with the results of the battle, it is also heartbreaking for the 30 guards. Their will be a mass memorial in a few days. Khamyra heads back home.

The Champion then finds his way to the flower shop. Picked up some flowers for his mom and heads back to the Castle. There he runs into Birgetta and her sister Livia. After a short exchange, the quarter elf and his mother meet up. Flowers given, he takes her out for a wonderful lunch at Fycons brothers. He invites her to the Wedding, telling her he is going to be married. She takes the news very well, even if it was with a smirk on her face. After dropping her back to the Castle, he stops by the flower shop again and grabs two more sets. Rides home.

Getting home, he sees it is a gorgeous, albeit a bit warm day. Novalee hanging out clothes in the back, Sisse and Khamyra playing with the Kids. Chance gives flowers to Novalee and he gets a big hug in thanks. He then gives flowers to Khamyra…

DMaster: The Onyx Elf smirks
KHA: I knew it, Gave some to your mom too I bet
She giggles, grabs them and gives you a long passionate kiss

Chance: kiss her back and then chuckle nodding my head.
Chan: of course you know me all too well. I also told her I was getting married. She took it pretty well actually.

DMaster: A long look is exchanged with your fiance. She is smirking and giving you a funny look.
KHA: She already knew, Chance

Chance: Shake head.
Chan: How? I didn’t tell her, did you?

DMaster: KHA: We sent out invitations… well they were sent out a week and a half ago. I received her RSVP already.
Playfully slaps your cheeks, softly.

Chance: Chan: well guess I made a big fool out of myself, more than usual.
Chuckling. Show her the notes I took about Varow.
Chan: Took some notes at the library about Varow and Corellon.

DMaster: She smiles real wide and nods her head.
KHA: I know hun, you told me already in the Throne Room. I think Cullun would need it most.
You head over to the Shed, hand off the notes to Cullun and head back.

Chance: Go find Dash, I think he was at the front door.

DMaster: Sisse finished up her lunch and headed back outside, Khamyra is reading to the Children.

Chance: Go find Dash.

DMaster: Dash is at the front door, daydreaming a bit

Chance: Walk out, with purpose.
Chan: Dash a word with you

DMaster: A bit startled, he straightens up, looks your way
DASH: Yes?

Chance: Chan: Were you daydreaming?
Giving him a stern look.

DMaster: DASH: No. Well, maybe. Quite possibly yes.
Looking flustered.

Chance: Chan: so Dash I have an important task for you
looking him over, putting hands behind me
Chan: that is if you think you are up for it

DMaster: DASH: Anything, of course.
Still looking at you, getting his bearings about him.

Chance: Chan: so as you know I am to be married soon, I was wondering if you would consider being my best man

DMaster: He gives you an odd look, then a smile
DASH: Of course, of course! I’d be honored!

Chance: hold my hand out to give him a warrior handshake
Chan: thank you Dash, I consider you not just family now but a friend

DMaster: He shakes your hand, big smile

Chance: Chan: oh and quit daydreaming about river.
chuckling shaking my head.

DMaster: His eyes bulge a little an he smirks
DASH: That obvious huh?

Chance: Chan: Kind of, and I can’t blame you. Now back to work.
Head back inside and spend some time with the kids and Khamyra.

DMaster: DM: Condensing. The day moves on nicely. Some good times spent with the Kiddos the couple watchs them trying to walk, learn to talk and all that. Sisse is excellent with them. Not pushing them too hard but hard enough for them to start improving. Novalee whipped up a wonderful dinner of Rabbit stew, fresh bread and redberry pie. The Kids go down to bed, and Chance and Khamyra have a quick poke, and fall fast asleep.

Thuralay (Thursday) 7:00AM

DMaster: CRY: I once stuck my head out the window and got arrested for mooning everyone. Get up you slogs! It’s 7:00 am.

Chance: Grumble and place feet on the floor thinking to myself, this crier is getting worse.

DMaster: DM: Condensing. Chance grabs some breakfast with everyone who is left, including the Kids. It is a replica of the day before, mid to upper 80’s light wind and a few puffy clouds. Then he heads to the Black Ward where he visits with everyone. He talks with Bastian and thanks him for everything. McKenna made it a point to say thank you again to Chance for healing her face. A bunch of them, Harlow, McKenna, and Bastian all discuss the battle the other night and what they can do to better improve readiness, so to speak. Then Chance heads home. After a few minutes home…
The front door opens
UND: Umm… I think some one is here for you? I can’t understand them. You might want to come out here.

Chance: Chan: I’ll be right out.
giving the underling a look, then walk out the front door with hand on Silent Fate.

DMaster: walking out, you see a hooded figure, though the hood is not deep so you can plainly see the face. Dressed in a lighter whiter type of robe. The odd thing is, she has pure white skin, it is almost scaled. Her eyes are wide, and bright blue. She looks at your size and seems a bit off put.
WHITE: Huyhkiit brallotitly frib grog fits

Chance: Give her a wide eyed look
Chan: Yeah, sure thing.
Turn into the house, yell
Chan: Hun? Can you come out here? Cullun too, if you are there?

DMaster: The poor woman seems a bit frightened now. Maybe because she can’t understand you, and that you are yelling and everyone is staring at her. Cullun has made his way to the front door, takes one look and his eyes bulge.
CULL: Come in, come in!
He says beckoning to her.

Chance: Give Cullun a sharp glance.
Chan: Cullun, are you sure?

DMaster: He nods, has a sharp look about him, then softens it, glances to her, smiles. She walks in looking about the home. She stops just at the edge of the living room, facing the Kitchen. Cullun is smiling.
CULL: What can we do for you?
She responds in gibberish. He nods and frowns.

Chance: Chan: Wait you understood that?
Make it past her, then look at Cullun. Then stand in the Kitchen area.

DMaster: The alchemist guides this person to a seat, but seems like they want to stand. he shakes his head at the Champion.
CULL: No, but I need her to feel invited not repelled.

Chance: Just let Cullun do his thing.

DMaster: He is trying to converse with her, using hand gestures. Cullun has got her name, as he is telling her, his name.
CULL: OK, your name is Peenzoh, mine is Cullun.
She nods her head, points at him.
PEEN: Cull – en. Cullun.
The Alchemist smiles real big and nods his head. Khamyra comes in from the back, her mother showed up when you were gone. They both skitter to a halt, wide eyes not sure what to make of this. Cullun seems to answer her, in some way, and you can tell it has to be close. This Peenzoh is acting much more aggressively hearing him.

Chance: Chan: So you know this language then?

DMaster: CULL: I think I do… not sure yet. Need more time.
He goes back to her.

Chance: Look over to Khamyra and Kerenza, shrug my shoulders. Then go to them and explain to them quietly what happened.

DMaster: They seem to be conversing, some what. It is still a bit of a trial. But Cullun seems to be hitting on about half the words.
CULL: It is an ancient language that has not been spoken in, well, a thousand years if not longer. I know some of it, translating some old texts about Animax and deep history. I would probably do better with writing.
He stops a moment, shows them to wait. Then he grabs some parchment and an inkwell and shows them. He writes something and she seems to understand. Then continue going back and forth.

Chance: Chan: can you ask her why she is here?

DMaster: Cullun laughs
CULL: Chance, we just figured out names, I am not going to be able to carry on a full fledged conversation with her. We are hitting on about half the words, so it’s getting somewhere but again, it will take time.

Chance: Nod head and blush a little. Easing my hand away from Silent Fate

DMaster: Khamyra is looking on, then seems a bit off put. Her mother takes notice first.
KER: Hun, what is it?
She asks quietly. The Onyx elf looks around again and shakes her head.
KHA: Probably nothing…

Chance: Chan: Probably nothing usually ends up in probably something. Not good too.

DMaster: For about fifteen minutes, Cullun exchanges chicken scratch with the person. Khamyra has grabbed a book you are familiar with, the one Waz gave her. She is now looking through it. She walks to a cupboard, grabs a bit of dust from a pouch. She tosses it in the air, traces a symbol and says “valoda.” Peenzoh’s attention went from the parchment to Khamyra with huge eyes.
PEEN: The Warlock, I have found you!
She stumbles back amazed that what she just said was different, but oddly she understood it. Khamyra nods her head, looks a little full of herself.
KHA: Damn, I’m good.

Chance: Shake head.
Chan: so why have you been looking for the warlock if I may be so bold to ask?

DMaster: PEEN: My Lady wishes to meet with you, offer you a warning as well.
Everyone in the room exchanges glances

Chance: eyes turning to slits looking at Peenzoh
Chan: Why would we want to meet someone who is giving us a warning, I am confused.

DMaster: KHA: Well, lets have it
The Onyx Elf says putting the pouch back in the cupboard. Though you can tell she still has some in her hand. Her mother interrupts.
KER: Wait who is your lady?

Chance: Nod at her.
Chan: I agree, just who is your lady?

DMaster: PEEN: The Lady Charota.
She says giving everyone a look.

Chance: Eyes get even bigger hearing the name
Chan: you mean she still lives after all this time?

DMaster: She nods her head

Chance: Chan: This message was meant for you Khamyra, but you aren’t going by yourself if you choose to

DMaster: Kerenza glances over to you, shaking her head a bit, looking at you dumbfounded. Most of the room does.
KER: Picked a mate that was lower on the evolutionary scale?
Khamyra gives her mother a sharp glance. But unfortunately the language incantation only lasts a minute, the spell wears off, and she goes back to gibberish.

Chance: looking over to Khamyra’s mom, frown a bit. Then look at Khamyra and back to Peenzoh
Chan: so much for a vacation, huh?

DMaster: The Onyx elf sighs looks at her fiance, shrugs her shoulders.
KHA: It is a one and done spell, according to this book. I can’t cast it again for a day, or I rest or some weird thing.
Cullun continues to work with her
KER: What warning could they possibly be giving… well, just you?
Khamyra shakes her head.

Chance: Chan: she wont be going alone, I wont allow it

DMaster: Kerenza gives you a sharp look, shaking her head again. Walks to you, speaks softly.
KER: You feeling ok? Get a bad sleep, drink some goofy juice? Who said anyone was going anywhere?
Glances back to Khamyra who is looking over some of the scribblings the Alchemist and the white lady are working with. Then turns back to you.
KER: …and “you” won’t allow it? Really?
She gives you a raised eyebrow look.

Chance: Chan: well, I meant, you know…
Look down, back off a bit.

DMaster: Khamyra then pitches in
KHA: Also we have something fairly important in a week or two hun. I wouldn’t go anywhere until then.
Her mother nudges you.
KER: In case you were wondering, she meant your wedding.
She says quietly and thick with sarcasm.

Chance: let out a small sigh, give her a sarcastic look back, move back again and keep quiet.

DMaster: CULL: This is kind of madness. I can get a few books to help, but every other word I think I have, I am finding is not what I think it is.
He sighs, and calmly puts his arm on the woman. Gives her a smile, and a motion as to say, “let’s just hold off a minute.”
CULL: Varow has “risen” much like her lady once magic was “complete” again. I also found her lady has a stronghold at the foothills of the Thundrad mountains.
Khamyra, with the dust still in hand, looks about the room again. Her eyes turn to slits. She tosses the dust in the air, traces a symbol and says “risipi.” A soft energy rippled from her outstretched hands, it doesn’t seem to do much until it hits two figures, who seemed to be invisible, standing in your living room.

Chance: Rip out silent fate, turn my eyes to slits and beaming blue light. Get in front of everyone to protect them. Try so that just my eyes turn. (Todd rolls a 2+5) So his eyes flicker, a symbol or two on his hand, most likely his left legs emanates some light too.

DMaster: KER: Oh jeez, he’s changing over… why are you… err, wait what was that in the Living Room?
Everyone backs up. You and Khamyra stand side by side. Her eyes flickering still, yours beaming and you can’t control your body there flows a few symbols and it faintly throbs with power. Khamyra’s mother rips out one of her long daggers and sprints for the stairs and up she goes. Peenzoh runs around you two and starts frantically speaking in her language. The two people who faded again, now suddenly pop into visual range. Hearing the noise, the underling in the front opens the door and pulls his sword. They look very similar to her, one a man another a woman. By now it is tense, a bit chaotic and everyone is on edge. Cullun walks to them.
CULL: (weird dialect)
Motions them a bit forward.
CULL: I think I told them, welcome, no need to hide… but I could of said, the chicken farts on Thursdays brunch, who knows.
Everyone chuckles. Kerenza leans over the railing and quietly hisses
KER: Everything is good up here.
The underling sheathes his weapon and walks back out. Things calm down a bit, Kerenza heads back down and Cullun is working a bit with them again. Kerenza walks up to you and puts her arm around yours. She then looks up to you.

Chance: Jump a little, glance down, a soft curious smile.

DMaster: KER: Chance, the second you felt any danger, you put yourself in front, protected everyone without even a fleeting thought of yourself
she says and continues with a smile.
KER: I am sorry I have been a bit harsh, you did not deserve it. The way you rushed to protect everyone… that is all I should need to know about you and your character.

Chance: Pat her arm that is around my arm.
Chan: I love your daughter with all my heart. I care deeply for everyone in this room. If anyone is to face danger, it will have to come through me first.

DMaster: She chuckles a bit, leans into you. She just stands there looking over the situation. Khamyra glances over and double takes, giving you and her a surprised look.
KER: Better watch out Ra-Ra, you might have some competition.
She slaps your ass playfully and walks over to the table to sit.

Chance: Eyes wide, blushing a bit.

DMaster: CULL: No surprise, I think they are just this peeface, or ballpeen persons protectors. Their real only advantage is invisibility.
KHA: Peenzoh Cullun, her name is peenzoh.
Giving him a playful look. Then frowning seeing his look back to her. They exchange the glance and he gets back to them. After a few more minutes.
CUL: From what I am gathering, and it is still very fragmented. They traveled from the foothills of Thundrad mountains, a stronghold in an ancient, forgotten place called… wait for it… Daseezrun.

Chance: Eyes go wide and look at Khamyra.

DMaster: KHA: You have to be kidding, really? This is getting more confusing.
KER: That is a 12 day journey minimum, plus perilous. And what is… Daseezrun?
KHA: From Chances research, it is a Kingdom that actively fought against Corellon, and Varow. Plus, that doesn’t make a ton of sense, its only been like a month since Finster Ascended…
He shrugs his shoulders and shakes his head.
KHA: I am sure the invisibility helped… though could they put horses invisible?

Chance: lean up against a wall still watching these figures

DMaster: After the final 3rd look between Khamyra and Cullun…

Chance: Chan: OK, I know something else is going on, out with it.
Looking at Cullun and Khamyra.

DMaster: He shakes his head
CULL: We could expedite this, you know
They exchange looks again. She nods her head.
KHA: Velencia. I know. She could probably get to the core of this immediately.
He nods his head, then looks about the room.

Chance: sigh and nod my head

DMaster: Cullun walks over to them, gathers the three of them together. He is trying to talk, looking through a book
KER: Did I just hear you say Velencia again, what is she your best friend or something?
She says in a sharp tone and an angry look.

Chance: Chan: now is not the time, when your daughter’s life could be in danger

DMaster: Kerenza gives you a sharp look, Khamyra gives her a pleading look as to say, “not now.”
KER: Velencia’s nickname is the “Inked Scourge of the East…” she didn’t get that from playing duck duck goose
Khamyra breaks up the possible confrontation. Finally, Cullun got them to understand
CULL: I am pretty sure I am going to get them to follow me, so lets go.

Chance: Gear up and head out.

DMaster: DM: Condensing. The group gets on horses, the three people in white outfits, white skin walk to the northern entrance. Once they get there, they are at a tree grove. They seem to be interacting with things, when suddenly these creatures pop into visual range. It was like they shuttered a bit then appeared. Light grey panther like creatures, with multiple tentacles of sorts flailing about. Chance thinks he remembers Cullun saying something, but then hears him say “they look a lot like displacer beasts, holy shit.” They head to the round about location, and the Champion finds the trigger for the door (rolls good for perception). Once the people of white, unmount, the creatures again shudder and disappear. Upon entering, the guards are surprised, but seeing the Warlock and Champion they let them in. They meet Rawek half way down the main hall and he leads them to the open air room they were in before when they had dinner with Velencia. They find Velencia is not there, but will be back shortly.

Chance: Look around for the dynamic duo of Rayven and River.

DMaster: No where to be seen. Looking around to see gorgeous plants, flowers, the blooming tree in the middle. Kerenza is looking about with wide eyes and a smile. Khamyra is with Cullun talking. The three white people are wandering together looking at the beautiful floral and natural surrounding.
RAW: She left in a bit of a hurry, she had that smile on her face so I am sure it involved killing something, or someone
The Bird man talks to you, quietly.

Chance: marvel at the sight for a minute and then straighten up and look at Rawek
Chan: Yeah, most likely.

DMaster: RAW: Make yourself at home, I will see if I can contact her
He squawks a moment then heads back from where they came

Chance: Chan: please do tell her it is of the utmost importance

DMaster: Khamyra and Cullun make their way over to you, Kerenza following close behind.
KER: A talking, ummm, bird
Wide eyes, shaking her head.
KER: I’ve seen it all now
The three whites are staring wide eyed at the creature called Rawek walking past them. The bird takes notice and just puts his head down a little and shakes it. After a minute, River and Rayven come piling in. Practically fighting to get position
RAY: What can we get for you?

Chance: can’t help but suppress a big smirk
Chan: Ahh, there they are. The entertainment.

DMaster: Khamyra lets out an unexpected laugh. They look at you, frown as much as they respectfully could, then looked around. They are taken back a bit by the people in white. Khamyra has them get wine and cheese and as they wait, they all nibble on some food and drink some wine. Rawek approaches them, and they take a step back. He starts to speak in the same gibberish they were and their eyes all light up. For a bit, they converse, not knowing anything they are saying, except maybe Cullun.

Chance: Eat some cheese, drink some wine. Wait impatiently.

DMaster: About a half hour later, the High Priestess herself comes strolling in, big smile on her face. Dressed in her usual dark outfit, but blood, guts and dirt all over her. She is cleaning off her Kukri’s with a towel Rawek handed her. Following close behind her is Hamza, the shade, carrying what appears to be pretty large fangs, dripping some liquid, trailing him. He as well has blood and guts on him.

Chance: Chan: Damn, what did I miss?

DMaster: They stop, a bit wide eyes seeing everyone
VEL: I was told I had guests, but this is an interesting variety here. Even the chump. I am honored.
She says with a bit of sarcasm. Khamyra walks over, shakes her head a bit… then smiles.
KHA: Spider fangs, clearing out a nest?
The Priestess smiles a bit, Hamza holds up a large vial of murky liquid
VEL: And some damn good poison
Cullun looks over, eyes bulge and smiles
VEL: Yes my friend, this will fill many a potion bottle.

Chance: Slaps forehead knowing how well this is going to go over with Khamyra’s mom. Make my way over to her just in case she tries to do something rash

DMaster: VEL: Oh Chump, heal me.
She walks over and pulls her already dipping cleavage further down and you can see this long, nasty scratch across her, and most of her nipples to boot. She is facing you, no one else can really see.

Chance: Sigh heavily. Not wanting to cause anymore issues with anything, start to turn over to my Champion form.
Chan: Nice titties…
Sat quietly, grab the both of her boobs and heal her.

DMaster: Her eyes light up a bit, and she does everything in her power not to moan. You get the usual powerful erotic shot to the groin area. Velencia looks at you, smirks.
VEL: You little sneak. I suppose that was… payment.
Winks and walks away. Everyone’s eyes are wide that have never seen that before. Luckily you don’t think anyone saw the booby grab. Meanwhile Hamza kneeled as you did that. Kerenza has wide eyes watching that.

Chance: Blush a little, look down. Not sure I should of done that but, damn, they are nice titties. Not to mention an odd exchange with her, she didn’t insult me or anything…

DMaster: VEL: I do have to get cleaned up, so pardon my absence for a few more minutes. Walk with me Brown eyes.
Khamyra walks with her down another hallway, and she fills her in on everything

Chance: shaking my head and chuckle a bit, pop a piece of cheese in my mouth.

DMaster: After a few, Velencia comes back in. Skin tight everything, boobs popping out.
VEL: So what do we have here?
RAW: The delegates from Lady Charota.
Her eyes bulge, looking at Rawek with some disbelief. They interact and they seem to have gotten over the initial shock of the Priestess. She is guiding them to a hallway.
VEL: If you will excuse us, I need to find the incantation I need, and no one will understand us anyhow…
The five of them disappear down a hallway, including Rawek.

Chance: go back standing next to my future in-law and smile

DMaster: KER: This is all a bit much
she is shaking her head, Khamyra giving her a smirk

Chance: Chan: welcome to our crazy little world
smirking now

DMaster: After ten or so minutes Velencia and Rawek return
VEL: Well Brown Eyes, you have a target on your back
She walks towards all you, boobs bouncing all over

Chance: shake my head as her boobs are bouncing all over. Then look over towards Khamyra with a bit of worry in my eyes

DMaster: Everyone turns to Velencia.
VEL: Varow has awoke, much like Lady Charota.
KHA: Yeah we got that much, but why is he targeting me?
VEL: You are the only one with Mana he can extract.

The World of Legon
