Occupation: Captain of the Black Ward
History: Harlow Oaksunder is the head of Camerondale’s “Special Forces” named the Black Ward. She was born and raised in Camerondale, oldest of 4 sisters and a brother. Her parents worked a lot, so she grew up quick. Left the schooling early and joined the Camerondale guards. She quickly rose in the ranks and by her 27th birthday she was in the Black Ward, at the time, the youngest to join. After many heroics, she became well respected and loved. 5 years ago she was offered the position to run the BW and she accepted. Harlow is married to Trent Oaksunder. She is headstrong, ambitious, bossy and sometimes obsessive.
Residence: She has a nice sized Brownstone in the upper area of Camerondale with her husband.
Abilities & Talent: Has been blessed with a sharp mind and a great sword hand; that led to her quick rise in the Ward.
Family & Relationships: Married to a man name Trent Oaksunder
Weapon of Choice: Custom (Pro) Sword. She has had this weapon for decades, and is rarely seen without it. It is exceptionally sharp and has been fitted with the BW black.
Appearance: Mid ranged dark hair, heart shaped face and beautiful eyes. She is a bit bigger than most women and that includes the breast area and butt. But nothing too soft about her, most is muscle from her job.
Mannerisms: headstrong, ambitious, bossy and sometimes obsessive.
Introduction:

Occupation: Lieutenant for the Black Ward (Runs Investigations, Inquest Division)
History: He is the lieutenant in the Black Ward. Grew up a genius (still is)and completed schooling at the age of 13. Taught himself alchemy and in many ways can be viewed as one of the most powerful witches in Camerondale, if you have to categorize him. Bastian is 2nd in command in the Black Ward and his place in the organization makes a ton of sense. He runs the Investigation and Research departments. Some say he is the busiest man in all of Camerondale, not to mention he might be the most important
Residence: An upper apartment against the the Inner Walled area.
Abilities & Talent: Genius level thinking and wisdom. Almost perfect photographic memory.
Family & Relationships: Unknown
Weapon of Choice: Pro level double bladed Niganati (spear / battle staff) that he takes with him everywhere he goes. The blades will pop out with a trigger, so it looks like an average staff otherwise.
Appearance: Usually a messed up shorter hair style, from lack of sleep and sometimes showering. A bright face that always has a 5 oclock shadow. Wears simple outfits, oddly not black, but brown and green.
Mannerisms: free-thinking, twitchy, genius and sometimes superstitious.
Introduction:

Occupation: Sergeant for the Black Ward (Runs the Guardian Division)
History: His race is not well known; he is a Goliath. Raised in the Wilds of the northern Teeter Wind plains, across the Clovendale River, he did not have a pleasant upbringing, the life of a Goliath can be pretty rough. He eventually broke free from his tribe, and ended up recruited by a Town as a protector, there he realized that he excelled at Barbarian fighting. Eventually he got wanderlust and made his way to Camerondale where he found his calling. There he was recruited by Captain Harlow and he rose in the ranks very quickly. He was offered the position to run the Guardian division.
Residence: A brownstone in the Bayfront Heights District of Camerondale
Abilities & Talent: Inhuman strength and power. Advantage on all intimidation.
Family & Relationships: Tucla a Dwarf is his wife
Weapon of Choice: Pro level greatsword that he takes with him everywhere he goes. Sometimes he switches over to a great ax depending on his mood.
Appearance: Very short cut, buzzed on the sides. Tons of battle scars across his body. Huge body, towering over people gives off intimidation to some. Always dressed in black hard leather armor and flowing black cape.
Mannerisms: Leaderly, personable, physical and boisterous.
Introduction:

Occupation: Sergeant for the Black Ward (Runs the Rogue Division)
History: Her real name is Anemone Pythoness. Grew up in a very stressful environment with all women, including their mother. Valentine never knew her father. All four of the girls were imbued with some sort of power, organized and executed by their somewhat batty mother; to try and create a complete Witches Call. Each power was elemental, and Valentines was “Air” and her name reflects that “Anemone.” Valentine did not want any part of it, and when she was old enough she ranaway. She stayed hidden for the most part, but eventually became a thief to make ends meet. Her talents led her further down a rabbit hole, taking contracts for assassinations. Bastian thwarted one of her attempts and was captured. Eventually Valentine gave up the contract for killing, but with her powerful skills she was allowed into the Black Ward where she flourished. So much so she was promoted to Sergeant of the Rogue Division.
Residence: An upper apartment in the Common District of Camerondale.
Abilities & Talent: Excels at thieving and assassin skills. Has some blood line gifts of perception and the like, spell casting too. Though she does not cast spells.
Family & Relationships: Three witches, known to most as the Thorngate Witches, despite them losing the War.
Weapon of Choice: Two Pro Poisoned daggers, that she is highly proficient with, including throwing them. She is always strapped with at least 5 daggers at any given time.
Appearance: Valentine in public almost always has a hood up, in pitch black leather gear and is strapped for war. In the compound, or off hours, she has flowing white hair, tattoos on her face from her childhood and big piercing greenish-eyes.
Mannerisms: Quiet, self-critical, demanding, and many times calculating.
Introduction:

Occupation: Compound Manager for the Black Ward
History: Born and raised in a large town outside Camerondale called Barewell, she completed her schooling at the top of her class, and was recruited for the Kingdom. She started as administrative, moved to light cloth and armor work (decent light blacksmith) and then moved into the Black Ward where she started as an administrator and after a decade of hard work; she is now the manager of the compound.
Residence: A Brownstone in the Common District with her Husband.
Abilities & Talent: Her uncanny ability to remember everything is because she has a photographic memory.
Family & Relationships: Married, but otherwise nothing is known.
Weapon of Choice: Her wit. It can be brutal and piercing.
Appearance: She almost always has her hair up, she wears very professional outfits for the time. She is a bit short and has some extra weight on her.
Mannerisms: Stern, unwavering, bossy and sometimes sarcastic / sassy.
Introduction:

Occupation: Agent of the Black Ward in the Rogue Division
History: Not much known about his childhood. A retired Baron of Camerondale was to be executed by an outside source. By chance Thanos intercepted the Assassin, and saved the Barons life. For his feat, he contracted out with the BW on similar missions but eventually was hired full time. He is now second in command in the Rogue Division. Thanos is from the Olothana Elf Clan, but was not branded at birth with the Tattoo.
Residence: Lives with his family in a large Brownstone just outside the Inner gates
Abilities & Talent: Is an excellent and calculating Assassin.
Family & Relationships: Unknown
Weapon of Choice: Pro designed throwing knives and Pro ridged daggers. Usually coated with poison.
Appearance: Lighter features, prominently a common elf, but with no Clan symbol. 5 oclock shadow, big eyes. Always dressed in pitch black BW armor strapped for war.
Mannerisms: Opinionated, conservative, narrow minded and sometimes stirs the pot.
Introduction:

Occupation: Agent of the Black Ward in the Investigation Division
History: She grew up in the southern part of Legon just outside a little town called Swanley Crow. But her family started moving from town to town as her father tried to find work. They settled in a large town called Southgate. Eventually it was taken over and called Thorngate about 5 years ago. Mckenna is a Witch Blade who left Thorn Gate a few years ago. She was discovered by Thanos, and has been working with the BW on some choice projects. A spot opened up in the Investigation division and she was accepted in by Bastian, who secretively, or not secret, has a crush on her.
Residence: Shared Brownstone with friend just outside the Vines district in Camerondale
Abilities & Talent: Very good at problem solving
Family & Relationships: Family unknown
Weapon of Choice: Custom Pro Rapier by her side always.
Appearance: Longer blonde hair, straight and hangs down at the sides. She has the most beautiful and sometimes unsettling green eyes around. She is thinner than most, but has mostly Black Ward armor on; though from time to time she will wear her rough leather accessories.
Mannerisms: perceptive, skeptical, vain and many times helpful
Introduction:

Occupation: Agent of the Black Ward in the Rogue Division
History: He is in the same family clan as his “cousin” that he now calls his sister, Rohlia. Living on the outskirts of the Clovendale area, he trained and learned much from her, in fact teamed up to go monster hunting a few times. Both of them together headed East making their way to the Kingdom of Camerondale. He was recruited into the Black Ward but a few years later left the organization for personal reasons. Captain Harlow then re-recruited him. He is an agent for the Rogue division and specializes in daggers and darts.
Residence: A simple house in the town, just inside of Camerondale’s South gate.
Abilities & Talent: Has the ability to be extremely quiet and stealthy
Family & Relationships: Rohlia as his Cousin / Sister.
Weapon of Choice: He usually carries two pro constructed short swords with him (blacked per the Ward) and a plethora of Daggers.
Appearance: Short hair, well maintained. Usually always in Black Ward attire. He has a boyish charm to him and his voice is a lower gruffy one.
Mannerisms: versatile, preoccupied, moderate and sometimes undisciplined.
Introduction:

Occupation: Agent of the Black Ward in the Guardian Division
History: She is a grizzled veteran who has been in the guard for 3 decades. Demi started in the guards at an early age of 17 after she realized schooling was not for her. She quickly climbed the ranks, only to plateau at 4 star which took her 15 years or more. Her valor in the Witch War afforded her an opportunity to sign on with the Black Ward, a lifelong dream of hers. No one but Chance knows that she is a follower of Finster.
Residence: Lives alone in an apartment in the Common Area of Camerondale
Abilities & Talent: Exceptionally strong for a woman. Is a renowned tavern brawler.
Family & Relationships: Family unknown
Weapon of Choice: Custom Pro Battle Axe, strapped to her back almost all the time. Very well versed with it too.
Appearance: Mid-range black hair, blue eyes, heart shaped face with dimples. A very bulky muscular frame with very little body fat. Curvy where it needs to be as well. Now, always dressed in her Black Ward armor. (Yes, I know C@ra Dune, but I love her)
Mannerisms: Stubborn, quick to speak, physical and once she trusts, very loyal.
Introduction:

Occupation: Agent of the Black Ward in the Guardian Division
History: Grew up spoiled, rich and handsome. Practically overnight his family lost their money, his father commits suicide and his mother disappears. He dedicated himself to finding his mother and in that time joined the Guards. After 5 years of hard work he was accepted into the Black Ward. Turned himself into an Enforcer, a specialized guard. Still has not found his mother, he assumes she is dead now.
Residence: A large apartment in the common area of Camerondale that he shares with some roommates.
Abilities & Talent: Very good looking and has a way of charming people.
Family & Relationships: Mother missing, Father dead.
Weapon of Choice: Pro built Bastard Sword, on his side all the time. Blacked by the Ward. Uses a club to help with non-lethal enforcement.
Appearance: Chiseled face, deep blue haunting eyes and curly locks on his head, most of the time gets plenty of attention from the Women folk. Always armed to the teeth and dressed in his Black Ward armor.
Mannerisms: Intense, obsessed, jealous and sometimes over confident.
Introduction:

Occupation: Specialized Contracting Agent
History: Not much known about her childhood, other than she grew up privileged. She contracts herself out for unique and dangerous missions. Her specialty is infiltration and information extraction. She comes at a very high price. Harper is one of the best looking humanoids in all Legon and she knows how to use it. Harper has been asked to join the ranks of the Black Ward, but she just replies “you couldn’t afford me,” and well, she would be right. Harper has more money than she knows what to do with.
Residence: Has a home in the Inner Gate area that she lives with a few servants.
Abilities & Talent: Has dangerous levels of persuasion and exudes a pheromone that acts like a low level Charm Person spell. For men they have to make a save at disadvantage. For women they have to make a save with advantage. She has a 19 charisma along with a 19 constitution as well.

Weapon of Choice: Her favorite is a hidden spring loaded dagger hidden in her cuffs when she is in dangerous situations. Otherwise she loves her bola whip, for protection and, ahem, other reasons.

Abilities & Talent: Very strong and gearing up to get promoted to Enforcer level.

Occupation: Agent for the Black Ward in the Rogue Division
History: Not many people know much about him, but he was brought into the Black Ward with a little bit of controversy; not everyone thought he was worthy of the agency. Barely a 3-star, taking far too long to achieve that goal. For some reason Valentine pushed him through, and it appears he is now a favorite of hers.
Residence: Lives alone in an apartment just on the inside of “The Pit” - an area that might be the best for the slums.
Abilities & Talent: None that we know of.

Appearance: Masculine featured, almost always a 5 o'clock shadow, haunting eyes. Very well built, and always in his Black Ward attire.
